The Clever Chef gives Blogchef's 7-Up Bundt Cake recipe a:

3.3

Would I make it again?? ABSOLUTELY!

I almost want to scrap my system and give this recipe a 4.5. It was very, very tasty. Let me explain some of the scores:
From the nutrition section:
  • Lowfat: 0
This recipe has 3, yes you read that right, 3, sticks of butter.

From the readability section:
  • Clear, well organized instructions: 4.9
There was one little thing in the recipe instructions that bothered me. The recipe description goes on about how easy this recipe is and that you can have it in the oven in 10 minutes but the recipe goes on to say you should cream your butter and sugar for 20 minutes. I'm not sure if it's a mistake and they actually meant 2 minutes but I creamed mine for 20 and it came out awesome. :)
  • Suggests alterations/substitutions: 0
There were no alterations or substitutions suggested but even if there were, I wouldn't use them because the recipe is great as it is.

From the preparation section:
  • Preparation/cooking time: 3
This recipe takes a whopping hour and twenty minutes to cook. We played Dominion while ours cooked and ended our game night with a delicious slice of cake.

The cake was fantastic and my husband has dubbed it his new favorite dessert. The lemon glaze is AMAZING! This dessert is definitely worth the hour and twenty minute wait!
